Why Learn Erhu?

The sound of Erhu has been known to have the power to touch and affect the feelings of countless people in the world.

Through learning Erhu it also gives insight to the cognition process of Chinese national music. The music for Erhu covers a wide range of style and genera, from Western to Chinese and even the Chinese local opera music.

Why Learn Yang Qin?

Very much like playing the piano, Yang Qin requires the player to have good coordination between both hands. While the hands need to work together coherently, they also need to have the technique to master individual tasks and melodies. So learning Yang Qin is a great way to work on the coordination and stimulate your brain!

Yang Qin has a wide range of octaves – 25 octaves in our latest model! And due to this structure advantage; it can covers a wide range of classical and modern music as well as some of the violin, piano and guitar music. It is also a great accompaniment instrument.

As part of the learning process, the student will also have the opportunity to learn about tuning the instrument. The skill in tuning the Yang Qin can also be applied to piano and other string instrument. It would widen the music knowledge and appreciation of the student. Here at WE Classical we believe learning an instrument is more than just developing a hobby, but it is another way to build character.

扬琴的演奏即要求左右手完全协调一致又要求各司其职。如在用轮音技术演奏抒情柔美旋律时唯有双手达到协调一致方能如愿的表达和传递出细腻的音乐情感。而在左手演奏旋律或复调，右手做和声或分解伴奏时又要准确的完成各自的技术要求。所以学习和演奏扬琴的过程也是促进身心和大小脑平衡，进步的过程。

扬琴的音域宽阔，音乐范围可谓无疆界限制。除演奏扬琴所特有的古典及现代音乐外，在借鉴和演绎和小提琴，钢琴及吉它乐器上也有着独到的发挥和诠释。

在伴奏方面，扬琴是除钢琴，手风琴外最具独立伴奏功能的乐器。今天的601扬琴共有85个音位（包括25个重复音位）。

学习者在技术和乐感到达相应程度时都需面对，学习和掌握调音技能。而调音技能更是一种对乐音的认知和修养。诚如我们的教学目的 ‘ 学琴不单是培养一种爱好，更是培养一种修养和能力。
