Yan Qin

Yang Qin has a history of more than four hundred years in China. After a long period of development, today's Yang Qin possessed more than five octaves, total of 62 phonemes (not including the other 23 phonemes harmonics).  With the wholesome Equal Temperament and wide range of register, Yang Qin has a capable range to cover all styles of West and East music.

 

As a solo instrument, Yang Qin has its owe unique ancient and modern music as well as interpreting transplanted famous music from Violin, Cello, Guitar and Piano.  As an accompany instrument, it has the independent accompaniment function which is not possessed by other instruments except piano.

 

It is also an ideal ensemble instrument and is widely used in Chinese music orchestras.

扬琴在中国已有四百多年的历史.在长期的发展中现今的601扬琴已超越5个八度,62个音位(若包括其23个重复音位.共计85个音位).

音律健全,音域宽广,使得扬琴便于演奏中西方大型音乐曲目.

在独奏方面,不单可以很好的诠释扬琴所特有的古今曲目也可独到诠释由小提琴,大提琴,吉它和钢琴移植而来的世界级名曲.

伴奏方面,它有着独立的伴奏功能,这是除钢琴以外其它乐器所不具备的能力.

合奏方面,扬琴早已确立其在中国民族音乐体系中的核心地位,及乐队中的指挥者.
