Sheng

Sheng is the first Chinese wind instrument that uses reed.  It has been in the Chinese music history for over three thousand years.

The sound is produced by blowing air into the instrument to vibrate the reed and the sound comes though the pipes.  The sound is soft and elegant, great for harmony.
