Celebrating Talent: Highlights from Our 2024 Annual WE Music Concert

On 27th of October 2024, WE Music School proudly hosted our Annual Concert, an unforgettable evening celebrating the talents and dedication of our young musicians.

The event featured a diverse program of piano, violin, erhu, guzheng, and guitar performances. The Junior Segment (Grade 0–4) began with playful piano pieces like "Bagpipe Player Coming" and "Dancing Bear," followed by lively violin solos such as "Allegro from Suzuki." Traditional instruments added a cultural touch with captivating pieces like "Half Moon" on the erhu and "Labor is Glorious" on the guzheng. The segment concluded with more intricate works, including the jazzy "Tick Tock the Jazz Clock" and the heartfelt "Always With Me."

In the Senior Segment (Grade 5–Diploma), students showcased their advanced skills with stunning performances of works by Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Liszt. Highlights included the soulful "Dumka" on piano, the expressive "Meditation from Thaïs" on violin, and a beautiful guitar duet of "Blackbird." Each performance demonstrated incredible technical skill and musical expression, leaving the audience inspired and amazed.

This concert wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our teachers, the support of families, and the tireless efforts of our students. Their hard work truly shone through on stage, making it a night to remember.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the magic of music. We can’t wait to share more unforgettable moments with you in the future!
